Jeff's a sucker for fried rice, he don't want our food to go to waste so when there's left over rice, he will cook fried rice next morning. Just a simple rice with garlic, and I don't eat that. Just not pleasant to my taste buds. I like it with as many ingredients in it as possible. And here, I made my own version of 'Chinese Yang Chow'. I'm starting to love cooking!!!
5 cups of cooked rice
1 tbsp canola oil
3 cloves minced garlic
1 large egg
4 slices of sweet ham (sliced in small pieces)
2-3 tbsp mixed vegetables (packed from the supermarket)
1 tbsp chili paste (add more if you like it extra hot)
1 tbsp soy sauce
3 tsp aji ginisa
Beat egg add a pinch of salt and cook in a pan while constantly stirring. Like cooking omelet. Set Aside.
Saute garlic in canola oil, add ham and mixed veggies. When ham started to glaze add rice. Stir to avoid the rice from sticking to the pan. Add chili paste, soy sauce, aji ginisa. Stir. Add the cooked egg. Stir and serve.
